It’s easy to find fault in people, to be critical, to talk behind their backs, but when you have a spirit of honor, you see the best in people, you focus on the good, you magnify what’s right. Pour honor into others regardless of how it will benefit you. Are you sowing honor or dishonor?
Every word that comes out of your mouth, every action, every thought; are you showing honor to the people around you? Do you build others up or do you tear them down? Take opportunities to be good to people; speak kind uplifting words, write a note, send a text, let others know how much you appreciate them, what a great job they’re doing, how important they are.
Do better and be better, not as a response to the actions or words of others, but because it’s who you truly are. Be the light that extinguishes the darkness.
By spreading honor to others, you will in turn be honored. It may not happen today, it may not happen tomorrow, but you will reap what you sow. (at Herbacondo)
